It's the Simple Things.

For the past few days, it has really been storming around here, and I absolutely love it. While the rain makes spending time outside, and driving, difficult, I know that once the storm passes and the sun comes back out, life will form. The grass will grow and the birds will chirp. It's simple things like this that make me so very grateful for what God has given me. A nice house, a car, a good education, and the freedom to worship Him wherever I go. Some people can't say the same. I know that God uses the storms in my life to help me grow in Him, just like the grass grows after a storm. So that's why whenever I walk outside in the rain I will simply say, "Ahh, I love the rain." and not complain about it. It's the simple things like a rain storm that help me realize that God has blessed me, and that no matter what happens, the storm will pass and I will grow.
